	What is Energy Healing?	What is The Human Energy Field (HEF)? The concept of the Human Energy Field (HEF) is based on the teachings of many different cultures which posits that the universe is imbued with a life-energy force. This force called Chi in China, Prana in India or Spirit among Aboriginal cultures. This energy field permeates and surrounds all living matter, and in human beings it manifests itself in the form of an egg-shaped energy field, often referred to as an aura. This energy field holds our traumas, hopes, dreams, physical illnesses, injuries, and unresolved conflicts, and can be detected through touch, or through the mind. This conceptual framework is the principle upon which Energy Healing is based. Since the HEF can be detected, it can also be treated through Energy Healing, that positive, life-enhancing energy which pervades all things.
